I'm Vivienne Maher, an Australian photographer and multidisciplinary artist specialising in luxury boudoir photography, bridal boudoir and intimate feminine portraiture across Sydney, Melbourne and the Central Coast NSW.

With over a decade of experience photographing women, my work explores the intersection of femininity, sensuality, beauty and human connection. Through VENZINA, I create elegant, intimate and emotionally expressive photography that celebrates individuality, confidence and the female form.

My creative journey began while travelling through London, New York and Berlin, photographing people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These experiences shaped my artistic approach, blending fine art photography, editorial portraiture and authentic storytelling.

Today, VENZINA offers personalised boudoir photoshoots, bridal boudoir photography, luxury hotel boudoir sessions and intimate portrait experiences in Sydney and Melbourne. Each session is thoughtfully designed around beautiful locations, considered styling, natural expression and artistic direction.

  • Super simple! Just reach out through my contact form to lock in your preferred date and package. A 50% deposit secures your Melbourne boudoir photography session, with the remaining balance due anytime after that, and up to 48 hours before your shoot.

  • Don’t worry — almost everyone feels this way at first. I guide you every step of the way, from hands and angles to relaxed, natural poses. Most clients leave saying, “I can’t believe how effortless that felt.”

  • I offer access to gorgeous Melbourne hotel locations on select dates, perfect for elevated classic boudoir photography. Prefer something different? You’re welcome to choose your own location, and I’ll happily recommend spaces that match your vibe.

  • Whatever makes you feel unstoppable, confident, and radiant. After booking, you’ll receive my prep + styling guide with tips — from luxe lingerie and silks to oversized shirts or bridal looks, it’s all about what makes you feel like you.

  • Hair and makeup aren’t included in your package, but I can recommend trusted Melbourne artists.

  • Life happens! Give me at least 48 hours’ notice, and your booking fee can be transferred to a new date within 3 months (subject to availability).

  • Most Melbourne boudoir photography sessions run for 2 hours. Want more time? Additional hours can be added on the day (subject to availability) for $500 per hour.

  • Your private proof gallery will be ready within 1–2 weeks. Once you select your favourites, final edits are delivered in 3 weeks. Prints and keepsakes are carefully packaged and arrive shortly after.

  • Images may be used for portfolio and promotional purposes. If you would prefer your session to remain private, simply let me know in writing and your request will be respected!

  • Yes! Polaroids, fine art prints, and luxurious keepsake photoboxes are available depending on your package. You can also add extras after your shoot — most clients can’t resist!

  • Yes! I travel to Sydney for select sessions - usually in Northern beaches, Sydney CBD and Greater Region. Just let me know when you enquire.

  • In Melbourne, I regularly shoot in Richmond, South Yarra, Fitzroy, Collingwood, Brunswick, and St Kilda, plus surrounding areas like Geelong, Mornington Peninsula, Daylesford, and Yarra Valley. I’m happy to travel to other locations for select sessions.

  • If you want over-retouched, cookie-cutter boudoir, VENZINA isn’t your vibe. My work is about intimacy, authenticity, and Melbourne bridal boudoir photography that feels timeless, personal, and unapologetically you.
